Keep Your Protected Health Information Private
Be advised that the Patient Portal utilizes the
same username and password (credentials) that you use to sign into the main
Boise State resources, such as BlackBoard, PeopleSoft
(my.boisestate.edu). It is extremely important that you
understand that if you want to keep your protected health information private, never share your
credentials with others. Some
students may choose to share their credentials with their parents so that they
can view their grades, financial information, etc. While Health Services cannot prevent this
scenario, we strongly advise against it as anyone
that knows your username and password can access your private health
information.
If You Think Your Password Has Been Compromised
If
you have forgotten, or think that someone has learned your password, you should
promptly go to https://my.boisestate.edu and click on reset/create password link
to change it. Additionally, we recommend
that you contact us at (208) 426-1459 during our regular business hours and we
can temporarily suspend access to your patient portal account until the issue
has been resolved.
